Erin Lofton (b. 1964)
is a visionary American artist in a unique genre. Her sensual expressionistic works are interpretations and explorations of beauty and chaos, dreams and visions.  Her paintings explore themes of Nature, Mysticism, and Romance, and the transitory nature of life, death, and rebirth.

Lofton was born and raised in the Hyde Park Historic District of Chicago. During the 1980s, she studied fashion design, painting, and sculpture at the prestigious Otis Art Institute and Parsons School of Design. After college, she spent a decade traveling on a solo journey, and living in the magical destinations of Mount Shasta, Maui, Sedona, Vermont, and high in the Sierra Nevadas. Her art was deeply transformed by these experiences.

Erin Lofton has exhibited her work for more than 30 years in Chicago, Arizona, New York, Florida, Hawaii, New Mexico, Georgia, California, and Spain.
